(by telegraph.) (from our own correspondent.) WELLINGTON, October 15. Imprest Supply was granted in the i Lower House yesterday, and the House | adjourned till Tuesday, 2nd November. The Council sits to-day to pass the Imprest Supply Bill. In reply to Mr. Marchant, who yesterday put a question about burning wood in locomotives on the New Plymouth line, the Minister for Public Works said the matter should receive careful consideration.
