2000 UNIONISTS TAKE POSSESSION OF WHARVES. (REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.) ADELAIDE, October 14. The 6trike of the wharf hands continues and the dissatisfaction of tbe men is increasing. Acts of violence are of frequent occurrence between the strikers and nonunionists. A crowd of 2000 unionists assembled on the wharf to-day and prevented the nonunion men from working. The police were powerless to afford pro» tection to the latter.
