Maxim is favorite at 100 to 15 (taken) ; Sextant, 100 to 15 (off) ; Artillery, 100 to 12 ; Nelson and Beresford, 100 to •10 ; Lochiel and Gipsy King, 100 to 8. The Wangatini Club has ' Motived very good nominations for the meeting on the -9th November, there being; 84; for the Trial Stakes, 22 for the Wanganui Han* dicap, and 11 for the Handicap Hnrdla*.
