FOUR CHILDREN DROWNED

ABHBURTON, October 18.
A sad caae of drowning occurred last night. The river had been in flood. for the foot few days, and the fords were in bad order. A man namtd Jenkins, his wife, ;and four children were out for a drive in a trap, and tried to ford the river. The trap upset, and all the children and the hone were drownifl, But Jenkim and his wife managed to crawl out.
