A Massacre Feared at Samoa.
]Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 8. Further details of the Samoau war show that, on declariue war, the German commodore landed forces of 250 men from tbe ship Bismarck, 150 each from the Olga, Carola, and Sophie, in all 700 men, and took possession of the S.unoan Government House. They broke into the mission house of the London Missionary Society, and other houses, and committed other acts of violence. Malietoa's followers meditated an attack on Tameses' party, but the English residents prevailed on them to desist, and Malietoa and his men retreated to the mountaius. Tameses came to Apia on 25th August in the Carola, when he was installed king by the Germans ac Malietoa's seat. A massacre is feared.
