PUNEHU VILLAGE ALLOTMENTS, To be offered under the Village Homestead Special Settlement Regulations. Crown Lands Office, New Plymouth, August 8, 1887. IT is hereby notified that the undermentioned Allotments of Land in the Punehu Village Settlement will be open for selection on Perpetual Lease, under the Village Homestead Special Settlement Regulations, on TUESDAY, 23rd AUGUST, 1887. Tne Government will be prepared, on certain conditions, to make advances to each settler, on security of his lease, at 5 per cent per annum, of a sum not exceeding £20, to assist in tbe construction of a dwelling-house, and a further sum not exceeding £2 10s per acre for bush felling and grassing. The Village of Punehu is situate in the Opunake Survey District, at the junction of the Eltham and Opu-nake-Stratford Koads, about 7 miles from. Opunake, 6^ miles of which are gravelled.
