INNES & CO., I'einiees, Statiokehs, an© BookBINDEUS, High-street, Hawera. NOW PUBLISHED. THE STAR ALMANACK, 1887. PRICE, ONE SHILLING. Opinions or The Press. "We bave been favored with a copy of the Stab Almanack for 1887. It is a surprisingly creditable production for a small town like Hawera, and the compilers and printers may reasonably feel satisfied with their work. The almanack contains a gre.it variety of the most useful information, and consists ot no fewer than 261 pages, not including advertisements. — Wellinjrton I*res3. The Star Almanack for this year, printed and published by Messrs. Innes and Co.. of Hawera would do credit to any of the large offices in the principal commercial centres of the colony. Compiled with ability and care, adapted to the wants of everyone, and containing 261 pages of printed matter omitting advertisements, the Star Almanack should find a place in every household throughout the district in which jt is published. — Wangamu Chronicle. We acknowledge receipt from Messrs. Innes and Co., of a copy of the Star Almanack for 1887. As usual, the publication contains muci useJul information, and should be found very valuable by every settler along this coast. It contains Tery correct directories of the towns of New Plymouth, Waitara, etc, as well as Hawera, Normanby, and other places. Every year this valuable almanack shows marked improvement, and we must congratulate the publishers on this evidence of success. The almanack is printed in first-class style, on excellent paper, ano we can safely say that the general get up "is equal to that of any similar publication in the Colony.— Taranal4 News. The j.b Almanack for 1887, a copy of which has been sent us, is a very neatly printed and somewhat bulky publication containing a large amount of information on all sorts of subjeots. It should ensure a large sale, and we hope the enter, prising proprietors will be recouped for the outlay they- must have gone to in the getting of it up.— Taranaki Herald We have to acknowledge with thanks the receipt from the publishers, of a copy of the Stab Almanack. It is impossible to give anything like an adequate idea of the real utility of tne work, for it contains 261 pages of matter, exclusive of advertisements, and every page conveys some useful information to the reader. In fact it is rapidly becoming a settler's vade mtcum, and can give points I to any almanack published on this coast.— Pate*
