MR. NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY REPORT. New Pltmouth, July 9. Cattle. — At Inglewood on Tuesday, there was a fair muster of cattle j mostly all I placed satisfactorily. Cows near calving were most in request, also young cattle. Calves, 18s to £1 ss ; 2-year-old steers, £2 7s ; cows in calf, £2 10s to J63 10s ; springing, JE3 10s to £1 15s. At Rahotu on Wednesday, mostly all the cattle yarded were sold, and at good prices. Calves, 245 ; 18-months to 2-years (mixed) most heifers, 345, in calf, 425, springing 60s. Produce. — Butter : salt is a drug in the market.
