On June 25, various firms reported following quotations : — Fat Cattle. — Heavy supplies forward, principally from Queensland, Best beef, 16s to 17s per 1001b. Fat Sheep. — Market fairly supplied. Prices unaltered for medium descriptions, firmer for prime. Wethers, 6s 6d to 12s 6d; 561b wethers with good skins, 11s. Calves. — Supplies small. Large sizes, 55s to 70s ; medium, 32s to 465; small, 10s 6d to 275. Pigs. — Supplies undiminished ; competition slightly better. Porkers, 3 id to Id. Dairy Cattle.— The demand for milch cows not nearly so brisk this week. Prices ranged from £10 to £15, one extra choice cow- making £21 ; dry cows sold from £3 to £5 10s per head. .....
