" The report of the select committee appointed to enquire into the charges of corruption against the Corporation of London shows that nearly £20,000 were expended in the effort to mislead Parliament and the State as to the public feeling respecting the City of London Local Government Bill. Mr. Bradlangh has given notice of motion condemning the corporation for being guilty of gross corruption, and that their conduct deserves severest reprobation.
