The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 15th instant :—" Wool— The sales progress steadily. The market for scoured merino is slightly better, but for crossbred merino, quality heavy in grease, it is slightly weaker. Up to date 149,000 bales have been sold. The sale programme has been curtailed by three days. Tallow — The market has a drooping tendency. Medium and inferior mutton, taifow is in demand, but fine is neglected. Good mutton is worth 23s 6d per cwt, and beef 225.
