Shaw and Saville's case against the Timaru Harbor Board for the loss of the ship Lytteltbn, claiming £32,802 16s Bel, began this morning,- and is expected to last three days. . Mr. Harper, in opening, said the .real plaintiffs were underwriters and some of the owners of uninsured cargo. The contention was that the ship was lost through the negligence of the xnan acting as pilot, who was not properly licensed by the Harbor Board. "•' AUCKLAND, March 12.
