Road to Connect Taranaki with Central Railway.

WELLINGTON, March 11
The Minister of Public Works has received detailed reports and surveys tor road communication between the North Islaud Main Trunk Line and Taranaki. One is from Taurnaranui to Waitara, and the other from Taumaranui to Stratford. He expects to have a third route reported on before Parliament meets. Both of the above roads can be constructed at moderate cost, but if metalled will be very expensive.
