(reuter's telegrams.) London, September 17. The wheat market is unchanged. No off coast or on passage sales have been effected. Forein supplies are heavy. The hop yield is 650,000cwt. Many discolored crops have not been picked. Wool is hardening at slightly lower rates. Merino is higher, and crossbreds show an increase of 20 to 25 per cent, above July closing rates. A hundred and forty thousand bales have been catalogued. Only 60,000 are available for the next series. September 20. At the wool auctions to-day eleven thousand one hundred bales were offered. The market continues strong.
