At Omata on Tuesday there was a fail muster of cattle, dairying kinds being well represented :— Cows in calf, ,£3 10s to £i2s Gd; springing- heifers, jBS to £o 10s ; calves, 19s ; bulls. JEI 3s to £1 Gs.

At the Waiwakaiho on Thursday, the yards were slacker than usual. A -fair number of young cattle were mustered, but no steers other than yearlings. Dairy cattle in rather less number than usual. I am, however, pleased to report a better tone m the market, although young cattle are of course low enough. Dairy cattle made quite a jump, heifers, springing, selling well. A pen of fat bullocks were passed in at i>s ss. The Romucy and other sheep, from Mr. 'Ihos. Kellv, drew some buyers, and bidding was spirited. Produce — Butter is dull enough in Sydney; and dealers do not care to operate. Most of them have, unfortunately, bitton their fingers this season, or will do so before it ends. Potatoes are moving quickly now at last rates, £1 to £1 10s for Circular Heads.
