HORRORS IN LABRADOR.

(SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

LQNDON, July 28.

Further intelligence from Labrador shows a pitiful state of things existing there. Up to the present 3500 deaths have occurred from starvation, and fully 15,000 lives are in peril from the same cause. The Indians arc eating the bodies of the dead, and to add to the horrors of the situation, a large number of bears, which have become ravenous for want of food, arc making raids on the settlements, and devouring human beings.
