DESTRUCTIVE FIRE.
NAPIEB, January 26.
The Herald correspondent at Makatoka telegraphs that large bush fires are raging round Makatoka. Parsons and Small's sawmills, with the houses and a large stock of timber, are entirely destroyed. The insurance is believed to be MIGG3 in the National, but probably it was partially re-insured. Several other mills were threatened when the despatch left.
