Harkiss, a financial agent, whose name has figured as a money-lender in various bankruptcies, has recently been declared bankrupt. The liabilities are £1174.
INQUEST.
AUCKLAND, January 26.
At the inquest on the body of Holmes, scenic artist, the victim of Saturday's fire, the verdict was '' Accidental death," there being no evidence to show how the fire originated.
