RAILWAY RATE.
DUNEDrN, April 5.
At a public meeting held at Gore today resolutions were passed agreeing, to oppose the payment in every possible legal way of the -rate of 3s 4d in the pound, levied by the Wainiea Plains Railway Company, and calling upon local and neighboring M.H.R's. to urge the Government next Bession to purchase the line.
