ACCIDENT TO A FROZEN MEAT SHIP.

WELLINGTON, April 4. A slight accident has occurred with the loading of the ship Lady Jocelyn with frozen meat for London. A day or two back one of the boiler's plates became injured bo that it was necessary to remove it. The machinery was stopped, and it was thought that as the compartments were air tight the delay would i cause no injury to mutton already on board. However, yesterday morning some of the 9900 carcases were found to be getting soft, and the steamer Florida which was to sail for London yesterday was hauled alongside to receive 2000 into her chambers. After this quantity has been placed on board the Florida, an examination will be made of the remainder of cargo, and if it is likely to be damaged, it will be transhipped to Gear freezing hulk, the Jubilee.
