The capital of the Company is £5000. The capital, it ia estimated, will more than cover the cost of land, buildings, plant, and material required at the outset. To bring the investment within the reach of all classes, the terms of subBcription are made easy— being 2s. 6d. per share on application, 2s. 6d. on allotment, and the balance in calls of 2s. 6d. at intervals of not less than three months. As commercial speculations, Gas Companies, in all parts of the colonies, have proved successful ; and the promoters have every reason to anticipate that there will be a satisfactory profit in the working of this Company.
