LOWER HUTT CLUB Owing to the increment weather only three events Were held at the Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic Club’s weekly meeting on Wednesday. Results: — 75yds Senior. —1. Clay 1, J. Gordon 2, N. Rodley 3. Time. Ssec. One Mile Junior.- —W. Armstrong 1, D. Melrose 2, P.. Jones 3. Time, smin ssec. One Mile Senior. —R. Sutherland 1, J. Gordon 2. Time, 4.sSsec. Programme l'or Tonight The programme for tonight will be the cne scheduled for last Wednesday, with the addition of two hurdle races (50 yards senior and junior). Two cups were recently donated to the club for competition. One, presented by Mrs. E. Smith., is to he awarded to the member (senior, junior or women) giving the best performance in hurdling events during the season. Mr. J. R. Cunningham has presented a cup for the most points in senior 440 yards events at the club’s weekly meetings.
