Wedding Delayed
THIEVES STRIP HOUSE Thieves have delayed the wedding plans of garage proprietor Sydney Roberts, of Enmore, by breaking into his bungalow and removing most of his furniture and effects, says an Australian paper.
Mr. 'Roberts was to have been married shortly to Mjss BourkeV who works in his office. He bought and furnished a home, but one night it was almost cleared. According to police, thieves took furniture, cutlery, glassware, curtains, an electric sewing machine, radio and about 7 0 gramophone recordings. They left the lounge suite and bed, but only because they could not get them through the window after being unable to open patent locks on the doors.
