* APPEAL FOR £500,000
The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church has approved of the launching of an appeal for £500,000 for an expansion programme extending over ten years.
The appeal, which will be launched in September next year, has been allocated as follows: —Church exten-
sion (sites, halls for youth work, manses, etc.), £250,000; home ministry contingency fund, £30,000; Rheological education, £20,000; overseas missions, £75,000; Maori missions, £50,000; loan fund, £75,000.
