Waimarie Croquet Club
The Waimarie Croquet Club’s application for lawns in Riddiford Park was granted by the Lower Hutt City Council on Monday night.Church Parade Led by the Petone Salvation Army Band members of the Hutt Valley Brigade of the iSt. John Ambulance Association held a church parade at St. Augustine’s Church, Petone, on Sunday morning. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. A. Jermyn, who made a special appeal for the St. John Ophthalmic Hospital in Jerusalem. The monthly parade of boy scouts, guides, cubs, and brownies was also held on Sunday.
