Successful Dance
HUTT YOUNGER SET
A dance organised by the Hutt Valley Younger Set, under the presidency of Mrs. R. B. Ashe, attracted a large crowd to the Wellington Town Hall on Saturday night and proved a very pleasant aiiair. The proceeds will go towards meeting the expenses of the Petone United Cricket Club’s proposed visit to Australia. Messrs. L. Borck and R. Corbie were masters of ceremonies. Eccentric and tap dances were given by Julie Tuppen. The proceeds of a soft drinks stall run by Mrs. F. FawcetV will be given to the parcels for Britain Fund.
