Youth Festival
WAIWHETU; MEHODIST CHURCH The annual youth festival of the Waiwhetu Methodist Church will be held in the Church Hall, Grenville Street, on Saturday, June 26. A musical programme depicting the passage of the seasons will be followed by a film of Boys’ Brigade activity throughout the world, after which will be presented the one-act plays “The Crimson Cocoanut” and “Complications.” The plays will be produced by Mr. Errol Muir, and will be the entries of the Waiwhetu Methodist Church in the forthcoming, choir and drama competitions of the Wellington and Hutt Valley Methodist Churches.
