LOWER HUTT CLUB The following were the latest scores in the monthly competition: D. Robertson, 100; J. Ross, 99; A. D. Brown, A. Ritson and 11. Caldwell, 97; S. Murray, L. Deans, C. Franks and A. Godfrey, 96; H. Keene, 95; R. H. Brown, 94; E. Gibson and J. Grundy, 93; N. Wood and P. Sharon, 92; T. Sanders and R. H. Brown, 90; K. McCormack, 89; D. Jack, 85. The A team defeated Hutt ValleyFrontiersmen by five points in the second round of inter-club matches. The following were the individual scores: — Hutt. —E. Veitch and J. Ross, 70; H. Keene and D. Robertson, 68; A. D. Brown, 67. Total, 343. Frontiersmen. —G. Collin, 69; L. Ruscoe and A. Linney, 68; R. Davies, 67; K. Rowe, 66. Tptal, 338. The No. 1 C team had a narrow win over Upper Hutt by two inner bulls, 328.8 to 328.6. Riverbank defeated the No. 2 C team by two points, scores being Riverbank 329, Hutt No. 2 327. The B team will meet Hutt Women on the Hutt range on June 9. This \yill be the first match for this team, it having had a bye in the first round. HUTT VALLEY ASSOCIATION Petone Central No. 1 and Hutt are the only undefeated teams in the Hu'.tt Valley Miniature Rifle Association’s A grade competition. These teams meet in the next round. The recently-formed Upper Hutt Club shot very well to be defeated by one point. Possibles were shot by B. Tait, A. Sundholm, N. Nicholl,. M. Wakely, J. Ross, and E. Veitch. In the C grade H. South, 69, and Mrs. J. Frost, 68, were top scorers. Results: A Grade.—Hutt 343, Hutt Valley Frontiersmen 338; Petone Central I. 343, Upper Hutt 342; Riverbank 343, Petone Central 11. 331.
