ANGLICAN CHURCH APPEAL NEEDS OE HOUSING AREAS The Bishop of Wellington announces that his six weeks campaign to provide money for the extension of the work of the Anglican Church in the new housing areas of the Wellington Diocese has been successful. The target of £IO,OOO has been reached. The Bishop wishes to express his warm and cheerful thanks to all who have made gifts, great or small, It the fund, and to all who have worked in support of the campaign. The total response to date from the diocese is £10,576, with more money coming in. In the St. James Parish, Lower Hutt, £I4OO lias been given, with donations still coming in. It is intended to proceed with the erection of vicarages at Naenae and Taita as soon as possible.
