CLOSING DAY OF SEASON Perfect weather prevailed lor the closing day of the Hutt Croquet Clut). In the forenoon a complimentary luncheon was tendered to Mrs. A. J. Sanders, who won Mi" New Zealand Croquet Council's silver button for the B Grade champion oi champions, and to Miss Margaret Claughton for her success at the North Island tournament. Lockett's trophy. Mrs. K. Parkin. The afternoon was spent in competitions, which caused endless amusement. They were won by Mesdanies G. Coilins and J. Stonehouse (egg and spoon). Miss M.
