GARDEN FETE
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE A garden fete on behalf of the building fund of the Hutt Valley St. John Ambulance Association will be held at the grounds of Mrs. Vivian Rkldiford’s residence in Woburn Road next Saturday. There will be sweets, cakes, produce, oddments, and ice cream and soft drinks stalls, also a good variety of side-shows. An excellent display is being arranged by the Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A. The official opening is to be performed by Mr. A. R. Cutler, V.C.. High Commissioner for Australia. A guard of honour representative of the Ambulance, Nursing, and Cadet Divisions iti Hie Hutt Valley is arranged and an excellent children’s fancy dress parade and pixie train is beintr organised by Miss D. Brooks.
