THRILLS FOR THEATREGOERS
The popular Stage Play Theatre Group will produce the extraordinarily exciting thriller, "Ladies in Retirement." by Edward Percy ind Reginald Denham, in the Waterloo School Hall lor a season commencing tonight.
Tin' action taken place In the living-room of an old house where Leonora Flske, an ex-show girl (front row of the chorus, fourth from the right I. lives with her housekeepercompanion, Ellen Creed. Ellen Introduces Into the house her two half-witted sisters. When Leonora objects to their eerie presence Ellen's consuming passion for her sisters prompts her to murder her mistress. The body is discovered by a thief, and he and the maid reconstruct the crini" with horrific success.
An experienced and enthusiastic cast is rehearsing under the direction of Mr. H. Painter. The proceeds are for the Jamboree Fund of the Hull Valley and Bays Scouts.
