ANNIVERSARY SERVICES
ST. STEPHEN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL The Sunday Sc.nool Anniversary of St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church has been marked during the past feuyears by the singing of a specially prepared cantata. This year's service, which was held last Sunday, gave a splendid impression through •jong and verse-speaking of the life of St. Paul till the time of his conversion. The cantata was prepared by Mr. P. 0. Brown and the Sunday School FtafiT, and was produced under the baton of Mr. J. Melville and with the help of Miss L. Davys. The soloists included Misses M. McCtillum, J. Robson, I. Benzies, J. Wilson, and A. Markwell, and Masters J. Won and G. Craighead. Speaking to the children, the Rev. L. V. Bibby outlined the experiences of surprise and discovery which mark all real living. The experience which came to the Apostle Paul, he said, was the most complete type'of these happenings. In thQ evening he spoke to the parents on the art and practice or' listening. The whole service was an act of, worship in which the children's singing added materially to the atmosphere.
