Y.M.C.A. STREET APPEAL

URGENT NEED OF FUNDS The Hutt Valley Y.M.C.A. is meeting in a very definite manner the needs of the youth of the Valley. A sound mind in a healthy body is fertile soil for the promotion of allround development—physical, mental, spiritual, .and social—and the many and varied clubs within the organisation cater for individual needs and tastes.

The Association, with a total membership of 12-23, lias 905 in active groups. By keeping the membership fees as nominal as possible it becomes imperative for the Association to appeal to the public once a year for its support. The policy which is being pursued by the Association, of decentralising its activities, requires that the facilities of the Y.M.C.A. be made available to the. incoming population in the northern districts of the Valley as well as the older established parts, such as Upper Hutt, Trentham, and Stokes Valley. Thus the full Y.M.C.A. programme will be given in these places as soon as conditions warrant.
