QI’EEN ELIZABETH'S HOPE The Queen, who is president of Sandringham (Norfolk) Women’s Institute, sent her best wishes to her 300,000 fellow-members of the British National Federation of Women’s Institutes recently when she addressed a gathering of 5000 delegates in the Albert Hall, London. Speaking of the counties 1 arts festivals, she said: “Now, in the face of difficulties, is the time for N - the people to sing and dance. “1 am. sure the right moment has been chosen to bring people together in towns and villages, to take up once again the joys of drama and music. \
“1 hope that the fun of the festivals will prove the kind of tonic which will be helpful while the many difficulties still with us are being surmounted.”
