NEW BUS TIME-TABLE
CONSIDERED LONG OVERDUE. A new bus time-table was long overdue, said Mr. A. Brockelsby at the last meeting of the executive of the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also stated that the destination signs on buses were sometimes incorrect, with the .result that workers took the wrong Hhis and so lost much* time. t The fact that the bus stops at the hospital were opposite each other often led to much congestion of traffic, said Mr. Brockelsby. These were matters of vital interest, especially to those who did not have' their 'own means of transport. It was decided that Mr. Brockelsby and the secretary (Mr. L. V. Phillips; ‘interview the local bus manager. Mr. H. V. Horlor pointed out that ..the City Council fixed the bus stops.
