BOWLING
REPRESENTATIONS BY NAENAE. At a meeting of the Wellington Bowling Centre an application by the Naena'e Club for its greens to be used for the centre champion of champions games was referred lo the tournament committee for consideration. In reply to representations made by the Naenae and Island Bay clubs about the difficulty of obtaining recognised "bowling costumes, it was pointed out by members of the New Zealand Bowling Council that the council had ruled that cream or white trousers must be worn by competitors at the Dominion championship tournament, and that no departure could be made from the ruling.
