NEW CLUBHOUSE. •With the end of hostilities and the release of petrol, members of the Hutt Valley . Motor-boat Club are looking forward to the resumption of normal peace-time activities this season. The club has purchased and is re-erecting at the river mouth on a section of land leased from the Petone Borough Council a -large Army building for use as a clubhouse. During the last month or so a few members have laid the foundations for the new building, and the

committee would be pleased if all -hose available would go along .iext week-end to lend a hand in the lifting into place of the walls of the building. Activities commence at ibout 9 a.m. on Saturday and continue throughout the week-end. It is hoped that members will roll up in full force and thus ensure that the new clubhouse will be ready for 'he official opening day.
