ELECTION OF OFFICERS. At the annual meeting of the Hutt Valley- Cricket Association the following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. W. Nash, M.P.; president, Mr. E. Sanford; vice-presidents, Messrs. Mr. W. Dougan. New Coaching School. it was announced that the coaching school, under the direction of Mr. K. James, would open in the Hutt pavilion next, week. A remit recommending the limitation of the senior grade to six teams was carried. The second grade is to be limited to a ininimj.im of six and a maximum of eight teams. lactuVers ami be safeguarded from loss by all the other nations. 11. The Bank is removed from all democratic control. It pays no taxes either on its assets or income to anyone. Its staff needs no visas and can move from country to country without any interference or control, and this applies during wartime even among enemy countries. For the above reasons, among others, we call upon you, therefore, our representatives, to refuse to ratify the Bretton Woods Agreement and so preserve the sovereign rights of our people in New Zealand, protest us against artificial slumps, and ensure the welfare and ordered progress of our Empire. Should you be in doubt as to the wishes of the electors of New Zealand upon this issue then we ask that you arrange to have a referendum taken.
