HUTT RIVER BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hutt River' Board at a meeting to he held at the Office of the Board, Lower Hutt at 3.15 p.m on Tuesday, 23rd July, 194 0, will make and levy rates for the year commencing Ist. April, 1946 and ending 31st. March, 1947, under the provisions of “The River Boards’ A'ct 190 8” “The Rating Act 1925” "The Local Bodies Loans Act 1913” and amendments thereto: It is intended to make anf the following rates: GENERAL RATES Upon the Capital Rateable Value of all property in the Hutt River District (for the maintenance, works and the general purposes of Uie Board) a Uniform General Rate of 85/1000ths of a penny in the pound on the Capital Valtie of all classes. SPECIAL RATES Class. 1.——21/1000ths of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. Class 2.—14/1000t.hs of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. Class 3. 7/lOOOths of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. Class A—2l/1000Ihs of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. Class B—l4/1 000ths of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. Class C— 7/1000ths of a penny in the pound on Capital Value. The whole of the amount due by each Ratepayer in accordance with t lie above-mentioned rates will be payable on 17th September, 1946.
