inJTT VAt-IiEY amalgamation A'fi interesting feature of the church" life of the Hutt Valley was file amalgamation, last week, of the Ministers' Fraternals of ketone and tower Hutt, to be known in future as the Hutt Valley Ministers' Fraterttal. For some years these organisations, embracing all the spiritual leaders of the Protestant churches, Have been representing the interests of the churches, but now the time lias come, in the expansion and development of the Valley, when amalgamation is more than ever desirable to meet the demands of such a wide sphere of influence. The proposal was brought to the Lower Hutt Ministers' Fraternal, which also includes Upper Hutt and the Bays, by a representation from Petorie arid was gladly accepted. The fervent .hope was expressed by all parties that this union woul-1 lead to great achievements in the spiritual life of the community.
