Shelters for Bus Passengers
In reply to complaints in Wellington the Railways Department said that it hoped to be in a position shortly to provide a bus terminal in Wellington for'the Hutt Valley and Khandallah services, where there will be shelter and waiting rooms for intending passengers. This is good news to the many Hutt Valley people who have often stood in the rain at the Hotel Cecil corner waiting for a bus or joined in the uncontrolled mad rush when a bus .'pulled up.
