HARVEST FESTIVAL
MOERA FREE KINDERGARTEN
On Tuesday, April 2, a harvest festival, organised by the staff, was held at the Mbera Branch of the N.B. Riley Lower Hutt Free Kindergarteri. About 30 mothers accepted the staff's invitation to be present and a pleasant hiorriing was spent watching the activities of the children:. A table laden with produce vfas evidence of the children's interest, each child Having brought a contribution. During the morning the produce was sold, the proceeds "to be used to buy equipment for the Kindergarten. A competition was won by Mrs. Austin, the prize being an artistic ally arranged basket of produce—the work of Mrs. Burns. Mornirig tea was served by voluntary helpers. Miss Gbrrie, on behalf of the staff, thanked the mothers for their assistance and interest.
