WMtiTSG BY CORONER At an inquest regarding the death of Vernon Jolly Polwart, clerk, aged 2-7 years, of Lower Hutt, whose death followed the capsize of a yacht in Wellington Harbour on March 17, the coroner, Mr: W. H. Mellish, returned a verdict that the cause of death was accidental drowning.

It was almost certain, said Mr. Mellish, tliat if life-jackets had been worn ill this case a tragedy would have been averted.
