HUTT VALLEY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD CONSUMERS ARE ASKED TO GIVE THE FOLLOWING NOTICE THEIR MOST CAREFUL ATTENTION Electricity Control Order, 1945 Notice to all Occupiers of Bwsisiess Premises ELECTRIC RADIATORS.: Clause 6 of the above Order states: ‘‘During the months of April, May, June, July, August and September in any year no person shall, in any premises to which this Part of this Order applies, use or cause to be used any Electric Radiator or other Electric Space-heating Appliance’ of Equipment at any time between 4 p.nt and G p.th on any day of the week except Sunday.” This applies to Shops, Offices, Factories, Warehouses, Hotels, Halls, Theatres, .Defence Premises. Government Departments, and other Business and Amusement Premises. ELECTRIC LIGHTING: Under Clause 7 of the above Order: “No person shall at any time of the day or night, use or cause to be used. Electricity from any public supply of electricity to operate any appliance or equipment.”—as follows: —■ Entire prohibition of the use of lighting for interior or exterior signs or ornamental or floodlighting, under-verandah lighting, interior show ease lighting. Shop window lighting is restricted to .10 watts per foot of window frontage and half hour after .sunset to 9 p.nt on any day. Lighting in Theatres, Public Halls, Hotel Lounges, etc. is limited to 60 watts per 100 sq- feet of floor area and fo .1.00 watts per 100 sq. feet in the ease of Shops, Restaurants, etc. CONSUMERS WHO FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE ORDER MAY HAVE THEIR EQUIPMENT DISCONNECTED Under Clause 9 (2) By Authority.
