WEDDING
DAVIDSON—KEMP i A pretty wedding was solemnised at St.. Stephen's Presbyterian Church Lower Hutt, on February 9, when Marie Forbes Kemp, daughter of Mr. G. F. Kemp and the late Mrs. Kemp, was married to Clarence Davidson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Davidson, of Te Awamutu. Rev. L. V Bibby officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely town of trained cream satin, with long pointed sleeves, hip-length bodice and heart-shaped neckline. An embroidered veil hung from a halo of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of cream lilies, gladioli and carnations. The bridesmaid was Miss Madge Kerr, of Dunedin, who wore a frock of cornflower-blue embossed satin, with shirred shoulders and heartshaped neckline. Her bouquet was of pink carnations. Mr. Byron Shield, of Te Awamutu, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held in Eva Draper's studio. The bride's aunt, Mrs. Dudley, who acted as hostess, wore a grey tailored costume, with accessories to tone, and a shoulder spray of pink carnations. The bridegroom's mother was in a navy ensemble, with white accessories and a shoulder spray of white flowers. Mr. N. Stead sang "I love you truly" and "I'll walk beside you-" The bride travelled in a powderblue frock and tailored coat, with Burgundy accessories.
