LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
MOERA — WAIVVHETtJ The annual meeting of the above branch was held recently in St. Paul's Hall. Mrs. C. Stanton was elected president, Mrs. W. Wilson re-elected secretary; Mrs. A. Fletcher re-elected treasurer. After the conclusion of business a social afternoon was held. Solos were sung by Mesdames Rouse and White and elocutionary items were rendered by Miss Rita Guise; also a bracket of numbers by the choir. It was also the occasion of the League's 12 th birthday. During afternoon tea a cake, which had been made by Mrs. Stanton, was cut, and the retiring president, Mrs. MacLauchlan, was presented with a box of flowers. The aftern,oon closed with the sing ing of the National Anthem.
