In view of the fact that it. ha? been stated that potential industries are being turned away from Hutt Valley through lack of sites for factories, the Hutt Valley Chamber of Commerce has decided to approach the Government to vacate the large areas now occupied near the mouth the the Hutt river. * * * * Advice has been received from the Minister of Defence that Sergeant Donald Ewart .lordtin. brother of Mrs. C. E. Moran of Lower Hutt, has been mentioned in despatches.
