HUTT VALLEY CHESS CLUB
♦ ' On Tuesday evening, May 22nd, Mr. R. Wade, the present N.Z. Chess Champion gave an exhibition of simultaneous play at the Club Room, Wesley Hall. Mr, Wade was welcomed to the club by the president, Mr. Wm. Toomath. The champion played 15 members and played from 8 p,m until 10 p.m, winning 13 games, losing one and drawing one. It was a splendid effort and at the conclusion 'Mr Wade was heartily applauded.
