SERVICES CLUB
Members of the ladies' committee of the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society were the hostesses for the past week-end at the Lower Hutt Services Club, where the usual facilities were again available to personnel of the armed forces on leave. Dancing and games were enjoyed on Saturday evening, whilst on Sunday the following artists provided the concert programme: —Mr. Errol Miur, humorous monologues; Ann Daily and Jean Cunliffe in skipping and Hungarian dances respectively, and Keith Bradford, first prize winner in the recent Hutt Valley Competitions for piano-accordian solo. The third anniversary of the opening of the Club will be celebrated on Saturday and Sunday next, June 2nd and 3rd, when it is anticipated that the special features arranged |or the occasion will result in record attendances,
